The link below will take you directly to our website that has tutorials on how to submit both the ICAP and Course Request to Home Access. Make sure your student has submitted their form on the Class of 2026 Schoology Page. Students have been working on their 4 Year Plan since December. Each student should submit their (green) Course Request form to Home Access Center on 1/26/22, before they submit their paper copy signed by parents to their Social Studies teacher. Parents are encouraged to meet their child at the drop-off location, or as in year's past, parents may continue to pick their student up at school when their after-school activities are finished.Īll Rising 9th Grade Course Requests Forms, Four Year Plansand Submission to Home Access Center (HAC ) are due on Wednesday, January 26th. Additionally, by setting the activity bus routes up in this fashion the district is able to cover routes and drop-offs for all CPS schools with our current available staffing. We are very fortunate, and I am very proud to be a part of such a strong community, school and school district. The goal of establishing these common drop-off locations was to drop students off within a mile of their home. We hope that that this will help strengthen the home-school connection. The Gibbons Middle School community is eager to meet the class of 2026 and welcome our rising 8th graders who were enrolled in our remote program last year. Routes and drop off locations are set to follow the most direct path with as few drop-off locations as possible. Once a bus has been assigned to your student, they will then need to reserve their seat on this bus by completing the After School Activity Bus link on our homepage. The process from form submission to bus assignment usually takes approximately 7 days. All forms should be turned into the main GMS office. Parents will need to complete the below Opt-In Form in order for your student to be eligible to ride this bus. This bus will depart from the school between 4:15-4:30 pm. Our after school activity bus will began running on January 18th. This bus is designated for those students who will be staying for an after school club or other activity M-Th and are unable to secure a ride home at the conclusion of the club.
